Our client is a well established bar and restaurant, situated in an exclusive village location on the outskirts of Chelmsford.

They have gained a reputation for producing a high quality, home cooked, traditional menu to accompany their daily changing ales.

As well as a thriving restaurant, they are able to cater for wedding and functions in their 40 cover conference room.

The role

They are now looking to recruit a Commis Chef to join their team of highly experienced and enthusiastic chefs. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the food, ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to and the general smooth running of the kitchen.

Skills

Some basic kitchen experience is essential, as is the desire to learn. You will need to be enthusiastic, hardworking, friendly, flexible and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Due to the location and various shifts, own transport is preferable.
