Carewatch (Colchester) are looking for an additional team leader to support and develop a team of home carers. Duties include carrying out client assessments prior to commencement of care service and writing care plans; attending social worker reviews and quality control procedures. Staff supervision, including assessing new carers and on-the-job training. On-call duties on rota.

Staff being supervised work 7 days per week between 7am and 10pm, so the supervisor must be able to vary their hours of work in order that they can monitor all care being provided.

At least 2 years care experience is required, ideally with NVQ 3 in care, and you need to be able to drive. Must live in Colchester
