Supervising and monitoring by means of working alongside and spot checks the Carer Standards of your team of Carers (Completing necessary Spot Check forms).
Identifying areas of training that you can complete “On the job” with Carers or identifying Formal training that needs to take place.
Hands on work as necessary.
Scheduling work for your team of Carers and identifying cover for holidays and sickness.
Individual monitoring visits to clients (when Carers not present) to allow a frank discussion on clients views of care delivered. (Completing necessary monitoring forms at least twice annually).
Entering onto Agency Manager any changes of your team. (Or completing paperwork to be logged onto Agency Manager by Office Co-ordinator.
Attending meetings with Clients and families following up complaints.
Attending initial visit with Individual Support Plan Officer to enable you to hand over full information to the Carer you allocate this to.
Any training necessary to your role. This could include “Train the trainer” training to allow you to pass on any new training to your team of Carers.
