Hi, I urgently need to hear from any landlords out there, with a flat/studio flat av for long term rental in Essex, who have a bit of sensible flexibility.
Basically, I've recently seperated from my wife, and we both agree that the quicker I can move out the better. I am asking for a bit of leeway with the deposit, as it'll take a bit too much time for me to raise-months rent isnt a prob.
For your peace of mind, here's my basic details before you're put off.
OCCUPATION : Specialist Courier (legal doc exchange for Police, Magistrates and crown courts, and solicitors). Served 5 years.

CHECKS: I hold a full clean, quarterly checked Police Disclosure certificate, which simply confirms that I have no criminal Record at all, and my i.d is fully verified...I am who I say I am. I can muster a work reference aswell if required from my current Contracting Employer, THE DX., and poss even from current customers, Solicitors etc. Bank statements etc.
As an x landlord of 20 years ago, I can fully appreciate the need for a deposit, but I am sure you'll agree that with employers like mine, I am not the type to create damage etc, and with the hours I do, my free time is spent sleeping !
Above all my Police Disclosure speaks volumes.
I can pay the months rent upfront, on or prior to moving in, and if you still feel you need some portion of the deposit, I'd appreciate some form of arrangement.
Don't panic about me paying the rent, I earn very well, but this precise period is strained, x home payment, very large VW Sprinter maintenance bill, Insurance, that with seperation is a vast task to deal with........and just before xmas! lol
