Purpose of the job: To provide personal, social and emotional support to service users including assistance with feeding, toileting, bathing, dressing and hygiene. This will include hands-on assistance using appropriate moving and handling techniques or equipment as necessary to meet the assessed needs of each individual, at all times respecting their need for independence, dignity and privacy. This includes moving and handling, medication, COSHH, food hygiene and infection control.
Essential requirements:
1. Enhanced CRB
2. NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
3. Previous work experiences in this field
