Please look up where Romford is before enquiring, as it saves both myself and you a lot of time. If your main priority is to save money on rent per month whilst also living in a clean, spacious, relaxing environment, with excellent amenities and transport links into London then this place would suit you. If your main priority is to be within zones 1-3 then and travel time of less than 20 minutes per day then it probably would not be for you. it comes down to which is more important to you -saving money or travelling 30 minutes rather than 15 minutes p/day. I know which I would choose! Travel is bit more expensive as is outer London but, the rent in zones 1-3 will cost you literally double the rent rate here. so I think you would agree, taken into account bit extra on travel vs half the rent cost, = you still save quite a bit of money each month here.
