Sheltered Warden - £11 - £14 per hour - Havering

Our client, a major social housing provider with offices in the Havering area, urgently require an individual with experience in housing support to take on the role of "Sheltered Housing Warden" on a short-term basis.

The main purpose of this role is to provide support to tenants and to manage the property on the Association's behalf within stated policies and guidelines.

This is a diverse role and duties will be:

To provide morning contact with tenants
To respond to emergency calls by summoning professional assistance and notifying relatives.
To arrange appropriate welfare assistance for tenants who are unwell
To encourage social activities with and for tenants
To welcome and assist incoming new tenants.
To explain how to use the central alarm system as appropriate.
To attend to tenants complaints, as appropriate
To prepare support plans and ensure they are being followed
To test the Central Alarm Call and Court Alarm System.
To show prospective tenants around vacant flats.

This role is to start ASAP with hours of work being Mon - Fri, 9- 5.30.

It is essential that you have a recent Enhanced Disclosure check and can produce the certificate.
