Client:

Our client is a beautiful, elegant and traditional hotel, situated in the Essex countryside.
They are a three star hotel, looking to expand their existing team of exceptional chefs.

The Role:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join their team within the main and banqueting kitchen.

Reporting to the Head Chef, your duties will involve food preparation, pastry/deserts, general kitchen duties and assisting the Head Chef. You will be producing food of a high standard from fresh locally sourced produce. We are seeking an individual with a passion for quality food and the desire to progress. Due to location, own transport preferable.

Skills:

Basic Food Hygiene
NVQ2/3 preferable
Good knowledge of Silver Service preparation
Experience of pastries desirable
Min 1/2 years proven experience
