An opportunity has arisen for a role as a prinicipal care manager/ strategic manager. A degree in social work, diploma in social work, CQSW, Masters in social work or other GSCC recognized qualification in social work is essential. A qualification as an ASW is also essential. You will be required to manage the residential, day care and supported housing services for adults with learning disabilities provided by the local council primary care team. Ability to manage NHS services, financial budgets and strategic and operational change is essential. Also essential is the ability to plan, organise and use resources effectively, including staff, capital assets and large revenue budgets. Very good knowledge of adults with learning disabilities and older people’s services would be a benefit. This role offers the opportunity for a long-term contract.
