Project Architect (Uml, Weblogic, Xml, J2EE)
UML, XML, OO, RUP, J2EE, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Unix. My client is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join an ambitious business transformation programme with revitalised information systems at its core. The role if the Project Architect is to enable such business transformation by interpreting business requirements and delivering the requested benefits by definign robust technical solutions within an agile architecture. The main aspects of this role will include working with the Development team and with the Technical Analysis, Design & Architecture group to define/document technical options, system designs and the overall development plan so as to meet the business requirements, construct component models and supporting information using UML, prepare and present design documentation to support the project lifecycle, ensure design is scaleable, flexible, supportable and considers performance and security issues and ensure a complete and coherent design is achieved within tight deadlines. Essential criteria for this role includes formal documentation skills, experience and direct application of one or more OO methodologies and good knowledge of UML, J2EE, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Unix and XML. Previous experience of working in a central government environment would also be an advantage for this position.
