Let me spell that for you: F U N K Y H O U S E (funky electro, funky techno accepted to). It doesn't say minimal, r'n'b, nor does it say karaoke. If you are not familiar with the term, please, don't waste our time.

If you play electronic music please let us hear it! We won't call you, myspace you, text you, whatever. Loads of emails to go through so please make it quick and simple. Send us a link to your mix, all other emails get deleted. No fancy description of your magic skill will help, it is about playing music guys, you are not applying for a position with nsa, we don't need your cv's. We don't care if you're 'experienced' and all the venues you played at, if you are good and you have taste in electronic music that is all that matters to us really.
We know the music terminology changes but this one hasn't when we last checked - we need H O U S E djs (i.e. electronic music around 140bpm, funky bassline and positive vibe). Please look it up before you drop us an email.

Right, so what it is about
We are starting a series of venues in UK and we are looking for people playing very positive, funky electronic music. Can be techno, can be electro, can be house BUT needs to be pumping, sweaty and loaded with (positive) energy. In simple words - funky as hell.
Oh, and we would like for you to be a vinyl dj (what is up with all the cd stuff?) but if you are what we're looking for we can make an exception (and then will teach you how to spin records ;)
