We are seeking a qualified teacher of Maths for our client school.

This school is a BESD residential school for boys aged 11-16. Boys come from all over Essex and all have a statement of Special Educational Needs. The students take GCSE’s and other nationally recognised programmes of study. Also at KS4 the school offers a variety of individual programmes depending on the needs of the student. This may include work and college placements.
On the residential side, programmes are offered to raise social awareness , self esteem and further social progress.
The school also has a senior CAMHS practioner who works with students

Due to the nature of these students, equally important to the subject is the teacher's ability to engage with these students, to make learning both interesting and fun. Excellent classroom management skills are essential but must be constructive and immediate. Teachers must also display and kind a pastoral side as these students require excellent role models.
