A secondary school in Essex are looking to recruit a teacher of music to join them in January. This is a position teaching music to key stages 3 and 4.

The department state that music is a practical subject where students work as musicians, engaging in musical philosophy. They believe all students should be given the same access and opportunity to the activities of the department to provide inspiration and enjoyment of the subject.

A teacher who desires to be part of a school that has an excellent reputation and also a good standing in the local community would be ideal for this position. A teacher who can bring out the best in all students, and who can be part of a school where exams are essential but so are life skills.

The school is in the District of Rochford, located 30 miles East of London. It is a Market Town and the centre of a conservation area. The town is situated between Chelmsford and Southend on Sea, and there is good access links into London.
