A well resourced and modern school in East London require a Senior Science Technician for a September start.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

•Maintenance of laboratory equipment
•Training of Junior Technicians
•Maintaining a constant supply of laboratory materials
•Large-scale preparation of experiments for classes, maintaining the health and safety of equipment used and laying out of equipment.
•Preparing chemicals for practical classes
•Assisting in the classroom
•Classroom demonstrations
•Responsibility for Health & Safety in the lab
You will preferably have a university degree in one of the scientific fields, but must be proficient to at least an A-Level standard or equivalent.

Professional laboratory and experience working in schools are essential.

Candidates without work experience in the UK will not be considered.

All candidate must undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check (CRB) and provide two professional references before commencing work
