A progressive medium-sized M&E Sub-Contractor, operating in both the Private and Public are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their busy offices in Kent to operate on projects in the Commerical, Industrial, Education, Healthcare and High-end Residential sector.

They possess a dedicated and highly skilled professional team of engineers and a directly employed workforce. They have the staff base to ensure they deliver a quality project on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager they wish to appoint a Mechanical Estimator to enable further growth of their highly successful team. The candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, attending mid & post tender meetings and post tender control. You will be expected to interface with both their existing and prospective clients.

Formal qualifications are not necessary although an HNC/HND or similar in a building services related qualification would be considered an advantage.

You will possess:
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of all aspects of building services.
- Wide supplier and sub-contractor knowledge.
- Commercial acumen to ensure tenders are financially sound.
- Flexible in approach to “dead lines”.
- Computer literate with experience of “Estimation” software.
- Willing and able to work as part of a team with the necessary skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment

A proven track record in a similar position is considered essential.
