Design Technology Teacher Required for Southend-on-Sea

A Southend-on-Sea School want a teacher of Design Technology to start with them in January 2010. The position is teaching design technology to key stages 3, 4 and 5. A specialist teacher in resistant materials and graphics would be great for this teaching job, and the ability to offer other subjects would be valuable.

The school are in search of a teacher who is an exceptional classroom practitioner and can build excellent quality relationships with students and staff at the school. This is the ideal opening for a teacher at a school where they can make a difference to the young people at the school, in an environment that is happy and vibrant.

The school is in Southend-on-Sea an attractive town on the south coast of Essex. It has seven miles of seafront and the longest pleasure pier in the world! It is an hour’s train ride from London and it is easy to reach by rail and road!

You will be required to have a full and generally recognised teaching qualification and if from the UK Qualified Teacher Status.
