Senior Sous Chef
This fantastic Senior Sous Chef role is based with our client a Hotel, Golf, Country Club & Spa that has 194 bedrooms, this stylish resort hotel set in 320 acres of countryside. The hotel has 18 conference and banqueting rooms, including one of the largest exhibition arenas in the South East. Other facilities include a Brassiere restaurant, 2AA Rosette Restaurant, 2 bars and an indoor Arena for sporting events or functions.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team of 13 chefs and reporting in to the Executive Head Chef. Chefs here work straight shifts 5 days per week, and always have to full days off. Due to the size of the team it is very rare that Chefs work more than 45 hours per week.
This pivotal role is responsible for the efficient organization of the Kitchen, helping to support our 18 Conference & Banqueting suites that can cater for up to 700 delegates at a time. You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in compiling menus, managing costs, stock control, and managing the team whilst maintaining standards in food preparation, storage and wastage.
We are looking for an individual who can help us drive our business forward, has a creative and charismatic style, has a previous experience in both Banqueting and Restaurant work and has the ability to plan and organize effectively. This is a role for an experienced chef, looking for a challenge!
