Hi there,

I'm a 25 year old, female, secondary school teacher working in Billericay and living in Chelmsford. I have also just started my Masters degree in London. I have only been living here for 9 weeks and have met a few really nice people since living here, but am still looking to meet as many people as possible and form some good, genuine friendships with both males and females.

I am originally from near Reading in Berkshire, spent 4 years in Brighton at university and lived in the Grays area for 3 years before moving to Chelmsford to start my job. As I am not originally from this area and have no family nearby I would really like to meet new people that I can hang out with some evenings, but especially at the weekends.

Although I do not have enormous amounts of spare time due to work and study committments, I do like to enjoy myself and relax as much as possible. I love to read, walk and swim, I am also a big film fan and love the cinema, theatre, dancing, eating out, pubs, bars etc, although I am not big into the clubbing scene. I also have a keen interest in photography and travelling and spent 4 weeks travelling around Europe in 2007.

I am quite a shy person at first and do lack a bit of confidence due to previous experiences, however I am open to meeting new people and trying new things, although, as a starting point, I am only looking for friendship at the moment and am interested in hearing from people with a genuine interest in meeting new people and making new friends.
