DYNAMIC WITH LOTS OF INITIATIVE?
A Children's home in Southend is looking for a Permanent Special Needs Teacher to work full time in a residential setting . The classroom is based within the home and caters for 2-3 children aged between 10 - 18. The children have their own IEP's and there is teaching support. Suitable candidates will be qualified teachers with experience of teaching small groups of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The teacher will be working alone and be have to do all the planning and preparation but there is a head teacher who is available and does training etc. There is also an equivalent teacher in every other home in the area to call upon for support and advice. This position is to start as soon as possible but the Children's Home is willing to wait for the right person.
