Who we are

We’re a young company that has developed some web-based with a focus on servicing businesses with recruitment needs (right from SME’s upwards). It’s called HARBOUR® – and it’s going down pretty well even if we do say so ourselves (which we do). You can read about the core product @ http://www.harbour-ats.com (and about us in general @ http://www.3dmarcomms.com), but we also know that what it’s made to do isn’t really what will get your interest. So what you need to know is that we build our solutions on a LAMP stack set up with a modular architecture and an eye on getting this to a point where we can mix it up a little in the open source market too.

Who we need

Let’s cut to the chase – there’s no nice office. Actually, there’s currently no office at all. Right now you’ll have to be completely happy working remotely (be that bedroom, mates office or shed). It’s not always going to be that way, but as a young business this obviously keeps our overheads right down and our hours… ummm… flexible. So whilst it would be easiest if you were based in the Essex / East Anglia region (where we mostly are) for when / if we have a need for an office, as well as getting to know each other, at the same time we're living proof that today's infrastructure can really work for modern agile businesses such as ours.

As far as skill sets go, we think we’re pretty much looking for somebody we can groom into our nefarious ways (our CTOs very words), so you’ll most likely be either fresh out of education or have some experience and have had enough of where ever’s currently sapping your life force. Either way you’re looking for an opportunity to prove yourself and get in early with something that will certainly test you, something you can put your mark on, something that you can be proud of. The sort of thing you got into Web Development to do!
