Reliability Improvements Engineer – Permanent – Pharmaceutical / Food / FMCG – Cambridgeshire

We are working along side one of the largest pharmaceutical manufactures in the country, they have an urgent requirement for their facility based in Cambridgeshire.

An opportunity has arisen within their manufacturing facility to recruit a Reliability Improvements Engineer to develop and deliver maintennace strategies and procedures to ensure all plant equipment & machinery operate reliably and efficiently with maximum up time and minimum cost. Our candidate will have experience working to GMP standards and you will need to be qualified to ONC level in Mechanical Engineering. You need to have experience working within a GMP regulated environment and have worked within either a Pharmaceutical, food or fine chemical industries.

Your role will develop detailed reliability maintenance studies very similar to FMEA’s, you will conduct root cause analysis and have experience developing and maintaining KPI’s based on machinery reliability around MTBF (mean time between failure), maintenance budget and up time. Dealing with stock lead-time, probability of failure and set out and outline clear spare parts strategy’s.

You will report to the maintennace manager and work heavily along side other departments including Engineering, SHE, Manufacturing, purchasing all within the maintenance and facilities team.

In return you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £25000 - £35,000 + benefits including pension, life assurance, private medical, stock, sick pay, childcare vouchers, 25 days holiday, relocation assistance.
